Clontarf Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Color: Straw yellow/light gold with an imperceptible (thank you thesaurus) greenish tint
Nose: Strong floral, sweet with oak, and a load of orange
Taste: Sweet, rich with caramel and a suggestion of spice. Finishes softly.
Price & Place: Binny's (I should be endorsed with how many times I bring them up!) for $35

Overall a rather mellow Irish whiskey, but in a good way! I learned that much of the mellow character is due to the charcoal filtration, which is somewhat extraordinary of Irish whiskey but common in bourbon. What stood out the most was the strong floral scent that I could almost taste. I really enjoyed this and fully endorse!

Enjoy!
