Glenfiddich 21 Year old / Caribbean Rum Finish

Region: Speyside
Nose: Intense and sweet, floral hints of banana (really), figs and rich toffee
Taste: Initially soft, then brisk and vibrant, peppery, a touch of smoke, vanilla, ginger, and spices
Finish: Very long, warming and spicy
Price & Place: $130, Binny's

So every year my sister and brother-in-law give me a gift for Christmas for being the Godfather for their 2 children. This year I received this bottle. Not sure I really deserved this; I did not do too much “Godfathering” this year! In any case it was much appreciated and will be enjoyed many times. This is a rich and indulgent malt from “The World’s Most Awarded” Distillery. After 21 years of maturation in traditional casks, the whisky is finished in Caribbean rum casks and hand selected for bottling to produce a luxurious malt.

Slainte!

You should try Lagavulin 16 yr old

Thanks for the tip! I'm not sure who left this comment but what do you like about this scotch?
