Waters is a fairly new winery, having started in 2005 but after tasting this one I will be exploring their collection. This is a blend of 55% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 17% Cabernet Franc, aged in 25% new French oak for 14 months. Dark ruby-color with an outstanding (and I mean outstanding) aroma! This has notes of cedar, spice box, and cassis. Very plush on the palate, it has ample ripe fruit, good balance, and a fruit-filled finish. It can be enjoyed now through 2015. I believe I enjoyed this immensely because the aroma, mouth feel, and, taste is Bordeaux-ish! The Walla Walla Valley continues to impress me! Stop reading already...go get the bottle!

Sláinte!
