About Me

My passion for wine was passed down to me from my father. Like a European household, he would offer me samples of wine that I later appreciated. I was born and raised in Chicago. I love the city for many reasons including; the diversity in people and food, architecture, nightlife and its rich history.

I have been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years. I currently consult for restaurants, importers, and distributors. Occasionally I teach Wine 101 class and conduct wine tastings for companies and private events. Wine provides an opportunity to learn and experience something new each day.  it is delicious on its own, but it is even more delectable and often more memorable when shared with friends. Wine should be fun, not complicated - it's all about the experience!
